Wasps usually build their nests inside our roof spaces, attics, garden sheds. If you find a wasps nest you should not try to remove it because if the wasps feel threatened they may sting.
Wasps usually feed on other insects, but they also like eating sweet food. This is why they become such a nuisance to us in the summer months when we are trying to enjoy our barbecues and eating out in our gardens. The wasps are attracted to all the sweet food on offer.
